Snarky Puppy and the Metropole Orkest bring their new project Somni to life: a concert in which the band’s signature grooves merge with the orchestra’s cinematic orchestrations, arranged and conducted by Jules Buckley. Eleven years after Sylva, their Grammy-winning collaboration finally receives a sequel.
Audiences experience a rhythmic and visually immersive journey in which jazz, classical, funk, and world music blend seamlessly. From intimate passages to exuberant orchestral explosions, the combination of Snarky Puppy’s virtuosic grooves with Buckley’s arrangements creates a powerful new interpretation of the music of bandleader Michael League.
